- Miyó Vestrini: (Francia, 27 de abril de 1938 – Venezuela, 29 de noviembre de 1991). Poeta, narradora, periodista, guionista y locutora. De gran talento absorbido por diversos medios impresos, de radio y televisión. Su estilo poético incisivo, versátil y descarnado le valió en dos ocasiones el Premio Nacional de Periodismo, la dirección de Revistas y la participación en grupos literarios. Entre sus poemarios se encuentran Las historias de Giovanna (1971), El invierno próximo (1975), y Pocas virtudes (1986).
A continuación, te damos a conocer uno de sus más famosos poemas titulado Zanahoria rallada:
El primer suicidio es único
Siempre te preguntan si fue un accidente
o un firme propósito de morir.
Te pasan un tubo por la nariz,
con fuerza,
para que duela
y aprendas a no perturbar al prójimo.
Cuando comienzas a explicar que
la-muerte-en-realidad-te parecía-la-única-salida
o que lo haces
para-joder-a-tu-marido-y-a-tu-familia,
ya te han dado la espalda
y están mirando el tubo transparente
por el que desfila tu última cena.
Apuestan si son fideos o arroz chino.
El médico de guardia se muestra intransigente:
es zanahoria rallada.
Asco, dice la enfermera bembona.
Me despacharon furiosos,
porque ninguno ganó la apuesta.
El suero bajó aprisa
y en diez minutos,
ya estaba de vuelta a casa.
No hubo espacio donde llorar,
ni tiempo para sentir frío y temor.
La gente no se ocupa de la muerte por exceso de amor.
Cosas de niños,
dicen,
como si los niños se suicidaran a diario.
Busqué a Hammett en la página precisa:
nunca diré una palabra sobre tu vida
en ningún libro,
si puedo evitarlo.
2. María Calcaño: (Maracaibo, 1906 – 1956). Primera poeta venezolana que asume la modernidad mediante letras libres y de goce. Su trabajo poético está marcado por una fuerte sensibilidad erótica y sexual sin dejar de ser sutil y elegante. Sus letras son voz de amor, calma, tristezas, alegrías, maternidad, hogar y muerte. Publicó tres únicos poemarios: Alas fatales (1935), Canciones que oyeron mis últimas muñecas (1956), y Entre la luna y los hombres (1960).
Conoce uno de sus más sentidos poemas titulado Zeta:
Yo sé que he de morir,
que ha de venirme eso…
Pero no quiero llantos,
ni doblez de campanas
ni alborotos, ni rezos.
Déjame solamente
el calor de tu pecho
sin estorbo de gente…
Y ahora que nada me dices…
habla de cosas buenas,
alegres, de mentira.
Bésame intensamente…
júrame que me quieres
y descíñeme este peso

3. Hanni Ossott: (Caracas, 14 de febrero de 1946 – 31 de diciembre de 2002). Fue una poeta, profesora, ensayista, crítica de arte y traductora venezolana. La muerte de su madre sucedió cuando Hanni contaba con tres años de edad, lo que le causó gran impacto por el resto de su vida, ya que durante mucho tiempo le ocultaron su fallecimiento. Esto despierta en ella una gran sensibilidad espiritual y poética. Sus textos suelen estar relacionados a lo nocturno, la casa, la infancia, el dolor y la muerte. Obtuvo varios premios por sus diversas obras, entre las que se encuentra Formas en el sueño figuran infinitos (1976).
